The Mercedes Benz of Cherry Hill Pro Tennis Classic was held on November 12, 2011 at the Cherry Hill Health & Racquet Club and raised more than $13,000 for the Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper.  Tennis professionals Todd Martin (formerly ranked #4 in the world) and Mikael Pernfors (formerly ranked #10 in the world) joined together with CHHRC professionals and area young people for the all-day event, which included live music entertainment and silent and live auction.  The night before, more than 150 people attended a VIP reception for Martin and Pernfors at the Red Carpet Mercedes Benz in Cherry Hill.

“The Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper is again honored to be the benefactor of this incredible event,” said Dr. Michael Goodman, Chief of the Department of Pediatrics at Cooper.  “Last year’s generous donation of $7,000 enabled us to stay at the forefront of medical technology with an in-room high-definition entertainment presentation for patients while having an MRI study performed.  We are excited to continue providing the best quality of care to our pediatric patients this year.”
