Three very special events will help Cooper celebrate the holidays in the community this year, as part of the Cooper Lanning Holiday Festival on December 3.
At 3:30 PM, Lanning Square Park in Camden (on 4th Street between Clinton and Washington) will play host as the Rowan University Choir performs. Santa will be on hand to distribute holiday gifts to children and seasonal refreshments will be available to all.
The celebration will continue, complete with choirs, Santa, gifts and refreshments, at 4:00 PM at Cooper Commons Park (on Washington Street between Chambers and South 6th). At 4:30 PM, all are invited to Cooper University Hospital’s Roberts Pavilion for a unique one-night art show featuring several up-and-coming South Jersey artists.
Cooper wishes to thank Rowan University, Symphony in C and the Greater Camden Partnership for their support. Join us to share in this one-of-a-kind community festival!

On September 9, the Cooper Foundation, the Greater Camden Partnership, and Symphony in C welcomed its fifth and final free musical celebration of the season as the Rowan Faculty Jazz Ensemble performed at Cooper Commons Park.
The expanded 2nd annual community concert series was made possible through generous donations from corporate neighbors Campbell’s and Subaru. The festival, which ran from June 17 to September 9, featured a wide variety of musical styles and groups from around the greater Camden community, including:
June 17: The Sensational Universal African Dance & Drum Ensemble
July 8: Pops 4th of July Celebration featuring Symphony in C 10-Piece Ensemble
July 29: Red KoolAde Jazz
August 19: Mikey Mikey Latin Band
September 9: Rowan Faculty Jazz Ensemble
