“WISH4SNOW” Holiday Campaign to Benefit Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper

77kids by american eagle, the kids brand from American Eagle Outfitters, Inc., has announced WISH4SNOW, a holiday program to benefit children’s hospitals across the country, including Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper. Beginning today, Cherry Hill’s 77kids store, located at Cherry Hill Mall on Route 38 in Cherry Hill, will invite customers to make a 77-cent donation to the hospital with each in-store purchase.

Additionally, customers can visit www.77kids.com to make “virtual snowflakes” stating their holiday wish, with the goal of creating 100,000 snowflakes by December 14. The site also features a free virtual snowflake-catching game. Each customer who creates a snowflake will be automatically entered into a sweepstakes in which a $77 gift card will be awarded daily, along with the grand prize of a winter block party. If customers reach the goal of 100,000 snowflakes, AEO, Inc. will donate an additional $25,000 to be split equally among the eight hospitals.

“Our goal this holiday season was to create a fun and interactive program in which we partner with customers to give back at a local level,” said Betsy Schumacher, chief merchandising officer of 77kids by american eagle. “WISH4SNOW fits the bill perfectly by focusing on individual hospitals that serve our kids. Both customers and the company contribute to make what we hope to be a real impact.”

Be sure to stock up on children’s clothing for the holidays at the 77kids by american eagle store at the Cherry Hill Mall, and create your virtual snowflake and learn more about the campaign at www.77kids.com!

“A Season of Hope” Celebration Benefits Trauma Family Support Group

Celebrating the holidays can be particularly difficult for families with loved ones who have suffered traumatic injuries. The Trauma Family Support Group at Cooper stands ready to help families deal with the shock, depression and grieving that can accompany these life-altering events.

This holiday season, the Foundation is assisting the Trauma Department with their annual “Season of Hope” fundraiser to help support the Group. For a five dollar donation at the Cooper Gift Shop, snowflakes can be purchased to honor or memorialize someone special. The snowflakes are placed in Cooper’s DiFlorio Healing Garden so they can be enjoyed throughout the holiday season.

The dedication for “A Season of Hope” will be held on Wednesday, December 8 at 4:30 PM. Snowflakes will be available, and holiday music and light refreshments served. All are welcome to join the festivities and celebrate “A Season of Hope!”
