Cooper Medical School Receives Federal Grant

Even before Cooper Medical School of Rowan University officially accepts its first student, it has received an $800,000 federal grant.

The five-year grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will help train doctors for service in the real world understanding some of the challenges that are incurred by the uninsured populations.

The announcement of the grant was covered by several media outlets including the Philadelphia Business Journal; nj.com; KYW news radio and NJBIZ
