Sonia O. Imaizumi, MD, Associate Director of Neonatal Services, Department of Pediatrics, has been appointed Medical Director of Care Coordination. Dr. Imaizumi previously had served as Interim Director of Care Coordination, and as a physician advisor for the Care Coordination Department. She is Medical Director for the NICU Follow-Up Program and the Mid Atlantic NIDCAP Training Program. She also is a former chair of the Performance Improvement Committeeof the Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper. Dr. Imaizumi is board-certified in Pediatrics, NeoPerinatology, and Quality Assurance and Utilization Review of Physicians. She has been amember of Cooper’s medical staff since 1993, and is committed to improving utilization review and care management processes at Cooper University Hospital.
