Dr. Richard Selznick, Director of the Cooper Learning Center, will present a free educational program, “Dyslexia: Essential Concepts for Parents and Teachers – Interventions, Accommodations and Strategies for Struggling Readers” on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at 7 p.m. at the Center School, 2450 Hamilton Avenue, Abington , PA.
Dr. Selznick is a psychologist, nationally certified school psychologist, graduate school professor, university professor of pediatrics and school consultant. He is the author of two books, The Shut-Down Learner: Helping Your Academically Discouraged Child and the recently published School Struggles: A Guide To Your Shut-Down Learner’s Success. Dr. Selznick presents complex issues in down-to earth terms.
