For 20 Years, Chrome Riders Have Been Roaring Into Camden to Cheer at Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper

ChromeridersmallOn Saturday, October 25, 2014, nearly 100 members and friends of the Chrome Riders Riding Club roared Camden to bring cheer to children hospitalized at the Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper. They brought with them a trailer full of toys, games, gift cards and other items. This was the 20th year that the Chrome Riders sponsored the Toy Run.

“Our staff and patients really look forward to this event, but this year is extra special,” said Robyn Harvey, RN, Executive Director of the Women’s and Children’s Institute and the Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper. “For 20 years now, the Chrome Riders have been giving generously to the community and making a big impression on our youngest patients, helping to brighten their stay with us. We are really grateful that they have continued this tradition year after year.”

“There is nothing better than bringing a smile to a sick child,” said Ed Cunningham, the Chrome Riders Chairperson for the toy run. “We look forward to this every year.”
