Cooper Surgical Specialties Unveils New Voorhees Office at 900 Centennial Boulevard, Suite G


voorheesCooper’s Department of Surgery’s recently opened its most advanced multi-service outpatient office at 900 Centennial Boulevard, Building 1, Suite G. The suite is designed so the surgeons and nurse practitioners can provide patients the services they need in a comfortable, welcoming environment.

The 6,200 square foot facility features the most advanced medical technology, 14 exam rooms, three procedure rooms complete with private restrooms, and a full-service, non-invasive vascular laboratory. The clinical and administrative staff is committed to providing all of the patients and their families with outstanding customer service and an exceptional patient experience.

Renowned Breast Surgeon, Cancer Expert Joins Cooper


Kristin Lynne Brill, M.D.Cooper University Hospital has appointed Kristin Lynne Brill, M.D., F.A.C.S., Director of The Janet Knowles Breast Cancer Program of the Cooper Cancer Institute. Dr. Brill will also serve as the Director of the Section of Breast Surgery within Cooper’s Department of Surgery.

“Dr. Brill is highly regarded as one of the leading breast surgeons in the region,” says Carolyn Bekes, M.D., Chief Medical Officer at Cooper. “Her surgical skills are remarkable, and we are especially proud that she has joined the growing team of breast cancer experts at the Cooper Cancer Institute.”

Dr. Brill, who specializes in the care and treatment of benign and malignant breast disease, will work closely with Cooper’s multidisciplinary team of medical and surgical cancer specialists. She joins Cooper from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where she was an attending physician, instructor of surgery, and member of the Kimmel Cancer Center.

Cancer Surgery Expands at Cooper with Renown Surgeon

Spitz, M.D., as Vice Chief of Surgery, Head of the Division of General Surgery and Deputy Director of the Cooper Cancer Institute. Dr. Spitz is a leading surgical oncologist with expertise in gastrointestinal cancers including esophageal, pancreatic, gastric, and hepatobiliary. He also specializes in primary and metastatic melanoma.
