Ed’s Story: Back to Broad Street – Double Hip Replacement

One year ago, Philadelphia mummer Ed McLaughlin was in so much pain due to hip problems that he was unable to perform in the New Year’s Day Mummers Parade for the first time in almost 50 years. Just a few months after surgery, Ed was back dancing — and this year he was  marching down Broad Street enjoying his new, pain-free hips and a renewed lease on life.
