Pastoral Care Week Is October 20 – October 27

A stay in the hospital may be filled with questions, hopes and needs. The Pastoral Care staff is here for all of our patients and their family members, as well as our employees, and is interested in hearing their concerns. They listen, counsel, care, worship and provide support to members of all faith groups, and also those who do not attend a formal religious institution. Additionally, sacraments can be received through the Pastoral Care department.

Our lovely Margaret L. Isaacs Chapel is open at all times and we encourage everyone to visit. The Chapel is located on the first floor of the Roberts Pavilion lobby, Room P118. It is a quiet place to worship and find serenity within its peaceful environment.

We hope that the Pastoral Care department can be of assistance. If you, one of your patients, or a patient’s family member would like to talk to a chaplain or receive sacraments, they can be reached at 856.342.2197, or ext. 2197, or through the hospital operator. Any patient, family member or staff member can call for a chaplain.

Please visit Pastoral Care’s booth at the Benefits Fair on October 23, 2013, at Cooper University Hospital, One Cooper Plaza, Camden.
