Thanks to the dozens of employees who volunteered at last week’s Teddy Comes to Cooper event, the students from KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy each walked away with a teddy bear and a better understanding of what happens at the hospital.
The teddy bears were triaged and their new “moms” and “dads” got to accompany them through vaccinations, X-rays, stitches, and other procedures. They even got to tour Cooper’s new ambulances and watch Cooper 1 air medical transport fly overhead.
