Colon Cancer Screening: The 80% by 2018 Campaign

Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer for both men and women in the United States and second among all cancer related deaths. If preventative measures are taken, 60 percent of cancer deaths related to colorectal cancer can be prevented! Cooper University Hospital has taken the pledge by the American Cancer Society in the national effort to have 80 percent of the population screened for colorectal cancer by the year 2018.

Cooper’s Community Health team and MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper will be at the following locations to discuss ways to reduce your cancer risk, understand your risk factors, and the different screening options that are available.
