Congratulations to Cooper’s Trauma Team

One of the things that differentiates Cooper University Health Care from other health systems in our region is our certification as the only Level I Trauma Center in South Jersey. This certification is provided by the American College of Surgeons (ACS).

Recently, a team from the ACS was at Cooper reviewing our trauma operations for recertification. In our exit interview, the ACS review team informed us that Cooper had “No Deficiencies” in its trauma operations. Furthermore, the ACS surveyor indicated that Cooper improved and is “even better since the last time we visited” calling our trauma program “spectacular.”

Great work and congratulations to everyone who played a role in this tremendous result!
