Culture of Safety Survey Coming Soon

A safety culture is sustaining a culture that works to consistently minimize adverse events despite carrying out complex work.

The Culture of Safety survey will launch on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, and will be open through Friday, August 31, 2018. This anonymous survey is to assess Cooper’s safety culture and will be sent to all Cooper employees who work directly with patients – specifically on the inpatient units and in the medical offices.

There will be two separate surveys. One is specifically for those working in the inpatient setting and the other is for those in the outpatient setting. Both surveys will be measuring the same thing, our safety culture, but with specific questions based on the environment each staff member and provider primarily works in.

The assessment is based on the Hospital and Medical Office Surveys for Patient Safety Culture, which was developed by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.

Please look for an email from ECRI.org with your link to the survey. ECRI Institute is our Patient Safety Organization.
