Finance Leadership Announcements

Dear Cooper Team:

We are pleased to announce that four members of Cooper’s Finance team have assumed new roles.

  • Kenneth M. Wright has assumed the role of Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer for Cooper University Health Care.

Kenny joined Cooper in August 2017 as a consultant before assuming the role of Controller. He has more than 17 years of health care leadership and management experience. Before joining Cooper, Kenny served as Assistant Vice President of Finance at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) for two years, and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer of both RWJUH and Somerset Medical Center in 2015.  Prior to his time at RWJUH, Kenny worked for Tenet Healthcare in Philadelphia for 14 years, where he was a Controller for Hahnemann University Hospital and Elkins Park Hospital.

Kenny holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

  • John Scianni has assumed the role of Vice President of Finance and Controller for Cooper University Health Care and Cooper University Physicians, and will also serve as Treasurer of the Cooper Foundation.  He joined Cooper in July 2001.  John has more than 20 years of health care experience, including three years with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

John holds a Master of Business Administration from Rowan University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Stockton University.

  • Tasha Menefee has assumed the role of Assistant Controller for Cooper University Health Care. Tasha has more than 10 years of health care leadership and management experience, including a role as Controller at Chestnut Hill Hospital. She joined Cooper in December 2014.

Tasha holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Rutgers University and is actively pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Rowan University.

  • Kara Wall has assumed the role of Assistant Controller for Cooper University Physicians.  Kara joined Cooper’s Finance team in September 2002 and transferred to Cooper University Physicians in 2006.  She has more than 20 years of health care experience, including four years with University of Pennsylvania Health System.

Kara holds a Master of Business Administration from Rowan University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Thomas Jefferson University.
