This Sunday: Building Temperatures Will Be Impacted on Cooper’s Camden Campus

Dear Cooper Team:

Please be advised that on Sunday, September 22, 2019, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., testing related to the co-gen project will result in warmer-than-average temperatures in non-critical areas of the hospital and throughout MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, Sheridan Pavilion, and the Education and Research building. Once testing has been completed temperatures will return to normal.

No patient or medical storage areas will be affected by the testing. Please see below for details on areas that will be affected.

Dorrance Building:

  • Mail room
  • Library
  • Entire second floor
  • Offices – 3rd, 4th, and 7th floors
  • Fourth floor conference room
  • Non-medical storage areas
  • Physician sleeping rooms

Roberts Pavilion:

  • Building management system office
  • Elevators
  • Lobby
  • Administrative offices
  • Oasis Restaurant
  • Second floor waiting room and corridor
  • Physician offices
  • Common areas – 3rd through 10th floors

Kelemen Pavilion:

  • Basement – reading room, respiratory therapy, cytology offices
  • First floor kitchen
  • Clinical decision unit
  • Offices – 1st, 2nd, and 5th floors
  • Cooper Court Cafeteria
  • Nurse administration
  • South corridors – 4th and 5th floors
  • Physical therapy

All areas within MD Anderson at Cooper, Sheridan Pavilion, and the Education and Research building will experience warmer-than-average temperatures during the testing period.
