New Equipment Purchases

One component of Cooper’s strategic plan is to make wise investments to upgrade our equipment to make your work easier and to serve our patients more efficiently and effectively. We recently announced the replacement of approximately 450 Workstation on Wheels (WoWs).

We are pleased to announce a number of purchases of new administrative equipment that will be distributed in the coming months. We will shortly announce a list of additional clinical equipment purchases as well.

We are replacing all 475 multi-function devices (copiers, printers, scanners, and faxes) throughout Cooper. Delivery of the new devices is beginning now and will take several months to complete. Additionally, we are replacing more than 1,000 HP desktop and laptop computers.

We have created a new comprehensive program to continually evaluate the useful life of all our equipment and set our capital budget appropriately to ensure timely replacement. This new program and these investments will be ongoing as we work to make Cooper the best place to be a patient, the best place to be an employee, and the best place to learn and practice medicine.
