Cooper’s Dr. Nitin Puri Named Co-Winner of NJBIZ Physician Health Care Hero of the Year

Cooper University Health Care is proud to announce that Nitin K. Puri, MD, Division Head, Critical Care Medicine and Co-Medical Director, Center for Critical Care Medicine, was named a co-winner of Physician Health Care Hero of the Year by NJBIZ magazine as part of the publication’s annual Health Care Heroes awards.

According to the editors of NJBIZ, “This year has presented unique challenges to us all, but in the midst of a public health pandemic it’s hard not to focus on those working on the ‘front lines’ of that fight, bringing an added sense of gravitas and appreciation to the 2020 NJBIZ Health Care Heroes Awards.”

Due to the unprecedented circumstances faced this year by workers in the health care industry, during its October 15, 2020, virtual celebration NJBIZ announced all of this year’s finalists as winners for the 2020 Health Care Heroes Awards.
