Celebrating Black History Month at Cooper

February is Black History Month and is an excellent opportunity to highlight the significant contributions made by Black Americans to our nation’s success.

The theme of this year’s Black History Month, “Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity,” explores the African diaspora, the spread of Black families across the U.S., and the wide-ranging diversity of Black family life.

This month we encourage you to use Pulse+ to share your reflections during Black History Month. Please share your thoughts on Black culture, contributions, and achievements and, in keeping with this year’s theme, share your family’s story.

If you are sharing photos, please remember: no patients, charts, or patient health information should be visible in the background.

Additional plans for celebrating Black History Month will be shared in Weekly Rounds throughout February.
