Pride Month – Celebration, Parade, and Festivities

Pride Month grew out of the Stonewell Uprising, which was a pivotal event that marked the beginning of a movement to outlaw discriminatory laws and practices against LGBTQ+ Americans. To read more about the Stonewall Uprising and the history of Pride Month, click here.

Cooper University Health Care is a sponsor of Haddon Township’s first Pride Month festivities event. As part of our sponsorship, members of Cooper’s Center for LGBTQ+ Health team will be walking in the Haddon Township Pride parade* on Thursday, June 10, 2021.
