The Compensation Analyst in Human Resources assists in the creation and administration of Cooper University Health Care’s compensation program and policies. This role acts as an internal consultant to Business Partners and leaders, through the analysis, design and recommendation of pay practices. Responsibilities include job evaluations for new and existing positions to determine grade, market competitive range, job family, and title; market analysis and internal equity studies; monitoring trends in the labor market, and more. This role partners with HR Business Partners, leaders, Finance and other key internal partners to finalize recommendations.

Qualified applicants for the HR Benefits Analyst position must possess a strong pension and retirement background, to include: completing 5500 filings, and non-descrimination testing, define contribution plans, 403b, etc. It is also required that this individual has a proven ability to successfully understand and administer group benefit plans and processes, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending account, 403(b) plans, leaves, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA Health Care Reform and Wellness Plans.

The HR Business Partner is dedicated to and accountable for building valued relationships, driving HR initiatives, implementing best practices, and ensuring client deliverables are met and work is of high quality. This individual will partner or collaborate with their assigned client group or business units to drive innovative people strategies in support of Cooper’s strategic imperatives.

This individual provides consultative support for routine workforce issues that impact the overall operational effectiveness for assigned client groups. Responsibilities include conducting research on policies, employment law, and core areas of Human Resources, and ensuring ease of access to HR deliverable for operations clients.
