Cooper is now hiring a Vice President of Facilities to provide executive leadership and ensure operational excellence for facilities operations throughout the Cooper University Health System. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily activities required for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the facilities maintenance, repair, planning, design, and construction functions.

This position maintains direct oversight of all major capital facilities projects throughout the health system, including the management of budgets and schedules, the procurement of third-party professional services, and compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements of each project. It also involves working closely with the senior management team on numerous ad hoc and ongoing initiatives related to health system operations and strategy, chairing or participating in various committees, regular reporting to the Board of Trustees, and cultivating relationships with public and private entities outside of Cooper.

Qualified applicants have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architechture, business or related field; education and experience comparable to leadership peers. Master’s Degree preferred. Additionally, you will have at least seven years of progressive experience in facilities management preferably in a healthcare setting, with experience in engineering, management of business operations, and project management.

If you can demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, sound management and proven leadership skills, the ability to manage capital and operating budgets effectively, as well as the ability to manage the interests of the hospital, as well as those of the healthcare system, we want to hear from you.
