Critical Care Techs assists the Registered Nurse in providing direct, indirect, and non-patient care responsibilities. You are responsible for the collection of laboratory specimens and performing EKGs, in addition to providing clerical support for the patient care unit and assuming responsibilities for transcription, record keeping, and intra-departmental and interdepartmental communications.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with acute care experience and previous hospital experience preferred, as well as an education and/or experience in phlebotomy and EKG.
