An opportunity is now available for a Senior Business Data Analyst for Managed Care in Administration. In this role, part of our financial team, you will be responsible for developing dashboards and ad-hoc reporting with minimal guidance in Excel/Tableau/PowerPoint, including: partnering with end-users to understand business needs and requirements, utilizing SQL/Data Warehouse/etc. to extract and validate required data, creating report/dashboard, and developing maintenance process. You will also validate data extracts and analyzing any differences to identify reasons why the data is not as expected; review accounts within EMR and Kaufman Hall system and, utilizing data, brainstorming creative ways to solve and analyze build problems within the contract management systems; perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing management or customer requests; and more.
On our team, you will work directly with clients and project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements, as well as developing analytics to support data driven decisions made by Senior Leaders, collaborating with other team members in data extraction and report development, and effectively communicating complex financial and operational information. You will also manage a direct line of communication designed to support the Revenue Cycle Leadership with ad hoc financial and operational data requests.
Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. MBA Degree preferred. You should also have five to seven or more years of progressively challenging healthcare financial/business analysis experience, including but not limited to a minimum of three years managed care contracting and hospital/physician billing experience, with Epic experience highly preferred.
