Eligible board-certified physicians on Doximity.com have been invited to vote in this year\u2019s\u00a0U.S. News & World Report <\/em>Best Hospitals reputation survey. Voting closes on Thursday, March 22, 2018<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Voting for the publication\u2019s Best Hospitals 2018-19 rankings takes place solely on Doximity.com, a free online community for healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n

Why is voting important to Cooper?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We know that U.S. News<\/em> rankings<\/em> have an effect on our reputation and<\/em> influence patients, referring physicians, prospective trainees, and donors. Therefore, optimizing our ranking is essential to grow our reputation in the region. We know that many other academic medical centers are encouraging their physician faculty and alumni to vote. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to vote and encourage your colleagues to do so as well.<\/p>\n

If you have not already received an email invitation from Doximity with an invitation to the survey, please visit Doximity.com and log in to determine your eligibility to vote.<\/p>\n

Eligibility for the reputation survey is determined by board certification in one of 16\u00a0U.S. News\u00a0voting specialties (see below). To receive the digital version of the survey, eligible specialists must have claimed a Doximity account by December 1, 2017.<\/p>\n

If you have not already claimed your profile, you cannot vote this year, but we encourage you to register so you can vote in future years.<\/p>\n

How to vote<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Log into your account at\u00a0http:\/\/www.doximity.com<\/a><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Click on the Best Hospital survey badge on your home page (at the top on mobile and on the right-hand side on desk\/laptop) that invites you to cast your nominations if you are eligible.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If you are invited to vote, use the form to nominate up to five hospitals that you consider best in the specialty for complex cases, then click the \u201cnominate\u201d button.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Confirm your nominations and select the \u201cconfirm\u201d button to submit.<\/p>\n

If you are deemed ineligible to vote and you believe this is inaccurate, you will find instructions and a short three-question form to recheck your eligibility.<\/p>\n
