Today is the fourth\u00a0annual National\u00a0Hospitalist\u00a0Day.\u00a0\u00a0This day\u00a0serves to celebrate the fastest growing specialty in modern medicine and hospitalists\u2019 enduring contributions to the evolving healthcare landscape.\u00a0This past year,\u00a0hospitalists have shone throughout the country providing the highest quality clinical care on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic and our group is no different.\u00a0 During this crucial time, Cooper\u00a0Hospitalists have\u00a0provided\u00a0care to\u00a0our\u00a0patients on the inpatient wards, in the stepdown units and ICUs, and in the emergency departments throughout the Southern New Jersey Region.\u00a0 We are so proud of t\u200bhe strength and expertise of our team.\u00a0 Today\u00a0is a\u00a0day\u00a0that we celebrate you and all of your accomplishments\u2014clinically, in education, quality improvement, administration, informatics, physician advisor work, and research.<\/p>\n
Fun fact :<\/strong>\u00a0In the mid-1990s, Drs.
