This more aggressive\u00a0form of breast cancer is less\u00a0responsive to standard cancer\u00a0treatments and is associated with higher death rates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Cervical Cancer<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Hispanic\/Latina women have the\u00a0highest cervical cancer incidence\u00a0rate.<\/li>\n<li>African-American women are more\u00a0likely to be diagnosed with cervical\u00a0cancer than white women in the\u00a0general population.<\/li>\n<li>African-American women have the\u00a0highest death rate from cervical cancer.<\/li>\n<li>Six out of every 10 cervical cancers\u00a0occur in women who have never\u00a0received a Pap test in the past five years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Steps You Can Take<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Women 40 and older (or women\u00a0under 40 who have a family history,\u00a0breast abnormality, or concern) should\u00a0have a mammogram. Mammograms,\u00a0combined with a clinical breast exam,\u00a0are the best way to find breast cancer\u00a0early, when it is easier to treat.<\/li>\n<li>Women 21 and over should have an\u00a0annual Pap smear. A Pap test, combined\u00a0with a cervical exam, can find abnormal\u00a0cells which may turn into cancer.
