Flowers, DO<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cUnlike other models, Cooper Urgent Care Centers are\u00a0staffed with board-certified emergency medicine physicians\u00a0and are the same physicians who see patients in Cooper\u2019s\u00a0emergency department,\u201d says <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/physicians\/james-flowers-do\">James J. Flowers, DO<\/a>, Medical\u00a0Director. \u201cThis high level of care is what sets us apart, as\u00a0these doctors are trained to treat a wide variety of injuries\u00a0and illnesses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Flowers also stresses that it is important that patients have\u00a0a relationship with a primary care physician who can manage\u00a0general health issues. However, for those surprise injuries and\u00a0illnesses, even community primary care physicians do refer their\u00a0patients to Cooper Urgent Care because of the extended patient\u00a0hours and diagnostic capabilities, such as on-site X-ray.<\/p>\n<p>While no appointment is necessary during office hours, each\u00a0location offers an advance reservation system through Cooper\u2019s\u00a0website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.CooperHealth.org\/UrgentCare\">CooperHealth.org\/UrgentCare<\/a>.
