We had\u00a0a shared vision of combining our resources and expertise to\u00a0better meet the needs of our community, allowing patients\u00a0to receive the care they need without having to leave South\u00a0Jersey,\u201d says <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/phillip-koren-md\">Phillip A. Koren, MD, FACC, FSCAI<\/a>, Medical Director, Cooper Heart Institute.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the beginning, our primary focus has been on\u00a0delivering high-quality care and the best patient experience\u00a0possible,\u201d says Dr. Koren. So far, our vision has taken shape\u00a0with integration of our faculty members, combined cardiac rehabilitation\u00a0services, and expansion of our heart-failure\u00a0program. As we move forward, we plan to add more Cardiac\u00a0Partners outpatient locations and expand our breadth of advanced cardiac services.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>From state-of-the-art diagnostic testing and routine cardiac\u00a0care to today\u2019s most advanced life-saving procedures, the\u00a0services offered by Cardiac Partners include nonsurgical,\u00a0catheter-based interventional procedures, management\u00a0of heart-rhythm disorders, and innovative cardiac surgery options.<\/p>\n<p>Many heart procedures and surgeries can be performed by\u00a0minimally invasive methods, which means patients benefit\u00a0from smaller incisions, less pain, reduced risk of infection,\u00a0and a faster recovery \u2013 so they can get back to their lives and doing what they love sooner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur patients have more treatment options \u2013 even medically\u00a0complex patients who are too high-risk for traditional open heart\u00a0surgery,\u201d says Kurt W. Kaulback, MD, FACC, Clinical\u00a0Director, Inspira Cardiovascular Services. \u201cBest of all, patients\u00a0can access care in the setting that\u2019s most appropriate and\u00a0convenient for them, whether it\u2019s at Cooper\u2019s tertiary-level\u00a0facility in Camden or Inspira\u2019s state-of-the-art community\u00a0hospitals in Elmer, Vineland, or Woodbury.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition, patients can see the cardiology expert of their\u00a0choice at one of nine office locations throughout South\u00a0Jersey.
