Cooper University Health Care, Virtua Health, the Camden County Freeholder Board, and Camden County Health Department have collaborated to open a new drive-up COVID-19 testing site in the city of Camden beginning April 1, 2020. In fact, Cooper has been asked by Governor Murphy to coordinate the COVID-19 response for all of South Jersey as the region\u2019s only academic health system and Level 1 Trauma Center.<\/p>\n<p>Cooper has also postponed all elective surgeries provided a delay is not harmful to patients. This frees up resources, staff, and space within the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Cooper is now offering our patients telehealth visits instead of in-office visits, when appropriate. This helps keep patients safe and reduces the risk of spread of COVID-19.
