Yesterday, Thursday, June 3, a celebration was held for this year’s graduating residents and fellows who will end their time at Cooper this month. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the graduates for being integral members of the Cooper team, and for embodying our mission: to serve, to heal, to educate.
This year’s class of residents and fellows have trained in historic and challenging circumstances. When faced with an unprecedented pandemic, they rose to the occasion and played a critical role in our COVID-19 response. Cooper’s strength is in interdisciplinary, academic medicine, and our residents and fellows not only carry the skills they learned from Cooper’s experts, but also the unique experiences gained from the pandemic into the next phase of their careers.
This year’s class of residents and fellows have also left their mark on Cooper. Our patients, their families, our colleagues, and the medical professionals of tomorrow will continue to benefit from their contributions in quality care and the wisdom they have imparted.
We wish this year’s class of residents and fellows all the best. You learned a great deal while at Cooper, and we hope that you fully enjoyed your experience. We know you will do great things, and we wish all of you a long and successful career in medicine.
