Thank you to the following individuals for their commitment and ongoing contributions to our next generation of physicians:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>22 years: Sharon Szmaciasz, Director of Graduate Medical Education and the Graduate Medical Education Committee.<\/li>\n<li>22 years: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/alexandre-hageboutros-md\">Alexandre Hageboutros, MD<\/a>, Program Director for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.edu\/fellowships\/hematology-oncology\">Hematology\/Medical Oncology Fellowship<\/a>. He is also the Associate Head of the Division of Hematology\/Medical Oncology and Director of the Gastrointestinal Cancer Program at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/services\/md-anderson-cancer-center-cooper\">MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>20 years: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/william-graessle-md\">William R Graessle, MD<\/a>, Program Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.edu\/residencies\/pediatrics\">Pediatric Residency<\/a>, as well as the Assistant Medical Director for GME and a General Pediatrician with the Children\u2019s Regional Hospital at Cooper.<\/li>\n<li>20 years: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/martha-matthews-md\">Martha S Matthews, MD, FACS<\/a>, is the Program Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.edu\/residencies\/plastic-surgery\">Plastic Surgery Residency<\/a> and the Medical Director of the Cleft and Craniofacial Program at Cooper. Dr. Matthews has also been the Chair of the GMEC for 18 years.<\/li>\n<li>17 years: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/janah-aji-md\">Janah Aji, MD, FACC<\/a>, Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.edu\/fellowships\/interventional-cardiology\">Interventional Cardiology Fellowship<\/a>, as well as a Clinical Cardiologist and Director of the Cooper Cardiac Catheterization Lab.<\/li>\n<li>17 years: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/steven-ross-md\">Steven E Ross, MD, FACS, FCCM<\/a>, Program Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.edu\/residencies\/general-surgery\">General Surgery Residency<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.edu\/fellowships\/surgical-critical-care\">Surgical Critical Care Fellowship<\/a>, as well as\u00a0Vice Chairman of the Department of Surgery and\u00a0Director of the Trauma Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Cooper.<\/li>\n<li>15 years: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/naomi-lawrence-md\">Naomi Lawrence, MD<\/a>, Program Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.edu\/fellowships\/procedural-dermatology\">Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship<\/a>\u00a0as well as Head of the Division of Dermatology, Section of Procedural Dermatology at Cooper.<\/li>\n<li>15 years: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/irwin-gratz-do\">Irwin Gratz, DO<\/a>, Program Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.edu\/residencies\/anesthesiology\">Anesthesiology Resident Program<\/a> and Division Head of Anesthesiology at Cooper.<\/li>\n<li>14 years: Betsy Lucas, Applications Analyst and GMEC Member.<\/li>\n<li>14 years: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/ramya-lotano-md\">Ramya Lotano, MD<\/a>, Program Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.edu\/fellowships\/interventional-pulmonology\">Pulmonary\/Critical Care Fellowship<\/a> and Pulmonologist at Cooper.<\/li>\n<li>12 years: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/steven-hollenberg-md\">Steven M Hollenberg, MD, FACC, FCCM, FAHA, FCCP<\/a>, Program Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.edu\/fellowships\/cardiovascular-disease\">Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship<\/a> and Director of the Coronary Care Unit at Cooper.<\/li>\n<li>12 years: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/consuelo-cagande-md\">Consuelo Cagande, MD<\/a>, Program Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.edu\/residencies\/psychiatry\">Psychiatry Residency Program<\/a> as well as an Adult and Pediatric Psychiatrist at Cooper.<\/li>\n<li>10+ years: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/andrew-nyce-md\">Drew Nyce, MD<\/a>, is a GMEC Member and the Vice Chairman of Emergency Medicine at Cooper.<\/li>\n<li>10+ years: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/robin-perry-md\">Robin Perry, MD, FACOG<\/a>, is a GMEC Member as well as Chairman and Chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist at Cooper.<\/li>\n<li>10 years: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/joseph-campellone-md\">Joseph Campellone, MD<\/a>, Program Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.edu\/residencies\/neurology\">Neurology Residency Program<\/a> and Director of the Electromyography Laboratory at Cooper.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The GME Committee (GMEC) monitors and advises on all aspects of residency and fellowship education at Cooper University Health Care.
