Nationally-renowned pediatrician and healthcare business leader John M. Tedeschi, MD, has been appointed to Cooper’s Board of Trustees. Dr. Tedeschi is founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board of Continuum Health Alliance, LLC, a regional healthcare management corporation, and Advocare, LLC, one of the largest, independent private physician groups serving New Jersey and the greater Philadelphia region.
“Dr. Tedeschi is one of the most influential and prominent physicians in South Jersey,” says George E. Norcross III, Chairman of the Board at Cooper. “His knowledge of healthcare and business acumen will lend greater insight to the care we provide at Cooper, particularly our pediatric services.”
His reputation in the region is a reflection of his advocacy for the children of South Jersey. As a leading business entrepreneur, he founded Advocare, an innovative new model for physician practices allowing doctors to focus on practicing medicine rather than focusing on the business of medical care.
Dr. Tedeschi returns to his academics roots at Cooper as he completed his internship and residency at the hospital. He has been a member of the medical staff for over 40 years.
