Dolores Cohen, AdministrativeAssistant for the Cooper Voorhees facilities and professional artist, donated the first print of an oil painting she created of the Dr. Diane Barton Complementary Medicine Healing Garden to Cooper Cancer Institute.

“The inspiration for this painting came to me during the first snowfall after the garden was erected in 2009,” said Cohen. “I believe that The Dr. Diane Barton Complementary Medicine Program Healing Garden offers the experience of serenity and peace to anyone who visits, and I wanted to convey that feeling on canvas.

“It is my fondest wish that all the patients who benefit from the manyprograms offered will enjoy this painting as much as I did in creating it,” she said.

We greatly appreciate Dolores’ generous donation and are fortunate to have her beautiful artwork on display in our building,” said Generosa Grana, MD, Director, Cooper Cancer Institute, and Head, Division of Hematology/Medical Oncology.
