Emergency Department “Reality” Series Set to Go Online

Michael Chansky, MD, Chief, Department of Emergency Medicine was interviewed by the Gloucester County Times about the upcoming “Behind the Medicine:12 Hours in the Emergency Department” premiering July 21st.

Chansky is one of more than two dozen emergency room staffers who will make their “reality show” debut Thursday on the hospital’s website. Cooper is set to release its five-episode web series, “Behind the Medicine: 12 Hours in the Emergency Department,” that captures what medical staff do every day in South Jersey’s busiest emergency room.

“The emergency departments are generally an afterthought in a lot of hospitals,” said Chansky, who is featured in the five- to ten-minute episodes. “I think the purpose is to demystify what Camden City Cooper is all about.”
