Due to improvements being made to the flooring in the Roberts Pavilion, pedestrian access to and from the parking garage to the hospital will be diverted through the Healing Garden to the old Dorrance entrance, where patients, visitors and employees will be able to access the Pavilion and Kelemen elevator corridors.
During this work schedule, the Pavilion main entrance doors to MLK Blvd will be closed and patient drop off and patient discharges will be switched to the Kelemen Building entrance next to the Emergency Department.
To perform this work in the least disruptive way to our patients, visitors and employees, the remedial work will be performed on two consecutive weekends and several weekday evenings:
- Friday, October 14th at 11pm through Monday, October 17th at 6am
- Monday, October 17th at 11pm through Tuesday, October 18th at 6:30am
- Tuesday, October 18th at 11pm through Wednesday, October 19th at 6:30am
- Wednesday, October 17th at 11pm through Thursday, October 18th at 6:30am
- Friday, October 21st at 11pm through Monday, October 24th at 6am
- Monday, October 24th at 11pm through Tuesday, October 25th at 6:30am
- Tuesday, October 25th at 11pm through Wednesday, October 26th at 6:30am
- Wednesday, October 26th at 11pm through Thursday, October 27th at 6:30am
There will be constant oversight of the work at all times to insure patient, visitor and employee safety and to guarantee no interruption of vital patient care services in the areas adjacent to the remediation work.
