Cooper emergency physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, coordinated through the Cooper Bone & Joint Institute and Cooper’s Emergency Services Department, will staff an on-site medical tent and be available to provide emergency and routine care to players and spectators as needed throughout the seven-day event.
Michael E. Chansky, MD, Chairman and Chief, Department of Emergency Medicine at Cooper, and Lawrence S. Miller, MD, Chairman and Chief, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, and Director, Cooper Bone & Joint Institute, are the medical committee co-chairs for the championship.
“Cooper is pleased to work in cooperation with the USGA and Rolling Green to provide this important service to the more than 150 championship participants, their families, and the many anticipated spectators each day,” said Dr. Miller. “Our team of health care professionals is ready to serve any medical need that arises.”
