On June 20, 2019, leadership from Cooper’s Adult Health Institute, Urban Health Institute, Women and Children’s Institute, Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine joined together for a day of service at Cathedral Kitchen.
The group met up at the CK Café first to have lunch together. After a tour and learning about their services, they gathered to start some food prep and set up the room for dinner service. The heavy rains and flooding kept some from coming in. Working alongside staff and other volunteers, the team served 231 clients a hot meal and provided them with a to-go meal.
Kudos to our #CooperTeam for your efforts in our community!
