Philip Norcross, chairman of The Cooper Foundation, Dina Matthews-Laurendeau, director of development at The Cooper Foundation; Liz Jaworski, chief leadership officer at Ron Jaworski Golf; football legend Ron Jaworski, founder and CEO of Jaws Youth Playbook foundation, Lisa Morina, senior vice president & chief philanthropy officer at The Cooper Foundation; and Carmen Ciervo, DO, FACOFP, chief physician executive for Cooper Care Alliance and Medical Director of Development at The Cooper Foundation.

Two hundred golfers celebrated a day of philanthropy and sporting spirit at the 4th Annual Cooper Cup Golf Outing on May 15, 2024, channeling their passion for the game into raising nearly $300,000 for Cooper University Health Care.

The sold-out event was held at Ramblewood Country Club in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, providing a platform for friendly competition among industry peers while championing the philanthropic initiatives of The Cooper Foundation. Golfers networked with sports broadcaster Ron Jaworski and vied for a chance to win a set of Callaway Paradym AI Smoke clubs donated by Chip Brewer, CEO of Calloway/Top Golf.

Funds raised from Cooper Cup go towards vital health care, community, and research programs at Cooper University Health Care, which serves South Jersey and the surrounding communities.

“Year after year, it is heartening to see so many individuals and the business community come together to support Cooper. Each swing on the course contributes to our ability to expand the outreach and support for the growing health care needs of the communities we serve in South Jersey and beyond, now and into the future,” said George E. Norcross III, chairman of the Board of Trustees for Cooper University Health Care.

“Behind every successful fundraising event stands a dedicated group of supporters who embody the very essence of Cooper’s mission.  Thank you to all our sponsors who came out to rally behind the common cause of providing the highest level of health care to our communities,” said Philip A. Norcross, Esq., chairman of The Cooper Foundation Board of Trustees.

“Cooper Foundation events provide an opportunity to have fun, network and enjoy some fantastic South Jersey venues with the ultimate purpose of giving back. Together, we are driving change and creating a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve,” said Lisa Morina, senior vice president and chief philanthropy officer at The Cooper Foundation.
