Cooper Neurosurgeon Appointed Associate Editor of the Journal of NeuroInterventional Surgery

CAMDEN, N.J.  — Daniel Tonetti, MD, MS, FAANS, director of cerebrovascular neurosurgery at Cooper and Inspira Neuroscience and assistant professor of neurosurgery at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, has been appointed associate editor of the Journal of NeuroInterventional Surgery (JNIS), the official journal of the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery (SNIS) and the leading peer-reviewed publication in the field of neurointervention.

Dr. Tonetti joins the journal’s core editorial leadership team, supporting JNIS’s mission to advance clinical science, innovation, and best practices in neurointerventional surgery.

Launched in 2009, The Journal of NeuroInterventional Surgery serves as a premier forum for original research, clinical studies, and reviews focused on minimally invasive treatments for conditions such as stroke, aneurysms, brain tumors, and spinal disorders. JNIS is published by The BMJ on behalf of SNIS and also serves as the official journal of several international professional societies, including the European Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapy (ESMINT) and the Canadian Interventional Neuro Group (CING), among others.
