Cooper University Hospital’s Board Chairman, George E. Norcross, III, is calling upon organizations involved in the revitalization of Camden to discuss a resolution to keep some Camden families in their homes as negotiated in 1992 by developer Israel Roizman.

Cook Medical Releases Initial Results From Its STABLE Clinical Trial Endovascular Treatment of Aortic Dissection

The findings were presented by Dr. Joseph Lombardi at the 37th annual VEITHsymposium. The trial is the first and only one of its kind to focus on a device uniquely designed for the endovascular treatment of Type B aortic dissection. The system as a whole is an investigational device not available in the United States.

On Wednesday, December 8, 2010, the first signs of snow this winter came from The DiFlorio Family Healing Garden at Cooper University Hospital. Glistening snowflakes filled the trees as Cooper’s Trauma Family Support Group hosted a lighting dedication in honor of patients, families, staff and visitors at Cooper.

Motorcyclists Deliver Toys to Sick Children at Cooper

On Saturday, October 23, 2010, 75 motorcyclists joined the Chrome Riders Motorcycle Organization for the 16th Annual “Toy Run” for pediatric patients at Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper. Each rider brought with them a new, unwrapped gift for a child at Cooper.

Cooper Wins Consumer Choice Award 6th Year in a Row

South Jersey residents have voted, and for the sixth straight year Cooper University Hospital has received a Consumer Choice Award from the National Research Corporation (NRC). The 2010/2011 award identifies hospitals which consumers have chosen as having the highest quality of care.

TD Bank Donates $100,000 Grant to Children’s Regional Hospital’s Neonatal Clinic

On Thursday, October 7, 2010, representatives from TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank ®, presented Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper with a grant from the TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, for $100,000 to be used for Cooper’s Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic.
