When completed, this will be the first organized Pediatric ICU in Nigeria. On this trip, the team set up the skeletal structure of the PICU and provided training for doctors, nurses, and physiotherpists, who function as Respiratory Therapists.<\/p>\n<p>This trip was sponsored by Cooper and Nemours, and organized by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/odiraa-nwankwor-md\">Odiraa C. Nwankwor, MD, MPH, FAAP, CPE<\/a>,\u00a0Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Adjunct) with\u00a0Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and a\u00a0Pediatric Intensivist, with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/services\/pediatric-intensive-care-unit-picu\">Division of Pediatric Critical Care at Cooper<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
