The Ripa Center for Women\u2019s Health and Wellness at Cooper<\/a> is expanding services with the addition of a new primary care provider. Mary-Elizabeth Gaskill, MSN, APN<\/a>, is an advanced practice nurse and is now accepting new patients.<\/p>\n

Mary-Elizabeth Gaskill, MSN, APN<\/p><\/div>\n

\u201cMary-Elizabeth comes to Cooper with a wealth of experience and a patient-centered philosophy of care,\u201d said Terry Ricca, Cooper\u2019s senior vice president, Institute Strategy, Access, and Chief Experience Officer. \u201cShe is a welcome addition and asset to our team of health care professionals at The Ripa Center.\u201d<\/p>\n

An advanced practice nurse is a registered nurse with advanced education and training who is licensed and board certified to practice and manage a patient\u2019s overall care independently. They can perform assessments and diagnose patients, prescribe medications, and order diagnostic tests such as lab work, imaging, and more. At The Ripa Center, APNs collaborate with the team of specialists to provide each patient with the highest level of care.<\/p>\n

Gaskill received a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics from Syracuse University, and received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in nursing from Thomas Jefferson University.She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.<\/p>\n

Gaskill is very involved and dedicated to her hometown of Merchantville, NJ. She is the chairman and organizer of the Annual 5K Thanksgiving Turkey Trot, member of the Merchantville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Merchantville Business and Professional Association, and the Merchantville Garden Club.<\/p>\n
