On Tuesday, June 8, Cooper University Health Care hosted a COVID-19 Vaccine Town Hall held at The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center in East Camden. This event was an opportunity for members of our community to come in person or watch online to hear from – and ask questions of – our Cooper physicians about COVID-19 and this vaccine.\u00a0Watch the recording here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A special thank you to NBC 10 and South Jersey reporter Cydney Long for partnering with Cooper to present this important educational event. Cooper physicians Anat Feingold, MD<\/a>, a pediatric infectious disease specialist, Camille A. Henry, MD<\/a>, an internal medicine and pediatric physician with an office at the Kroc Center, and John Porter, MD<\/a>, head of trauma surgery and Cooper\u2019s Level 1 Trauma Center<\/a> and a Camden resident, provided answers on a wide range of questions.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Cooper opened the first-of-its-kind neighborhood Vaccination and Education Center at the Kroc Center<\/a>, which includes a strong education component to answer questions about the COVID-19 vaccine for city residents.
