Cooper University Health Care was recognized by U.S. News & World Report\u2019s 2023-2024 Best Hospitals annual survey as one of the top 10 hospitals in New Jersey.<\/p><\/div>\n

Cooper University Health Care was recognized by U.S. News & World Report\u2019s 2023-2024 Best Hospitals annual survey as one of the top 10 hospitals in New Jersey and as a high-performing hospital nationally in 11 specialty services: abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, colon cancer surgery, diabetes, heart failure, heart attack, heart bypass surgery, kidney failure, leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, pneumonia, prostate cancer surgery, and stroke.<\/p>\n

The U.S. News & World Report\u202fBest Hospitals rankings are intended to help patients with rare or life-threatening conditions make informed decisions about where to receive care. This year\u2019s\u202fU.S. News & World Report\u202fBest Hospitals list ranks hospitals in 16 specialties: cancer; cardiology and heart surgery; diabetes and endocrinology; ear, nose, and throat; gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery; geriatrics; gynecology; nephrology; neurology and neurosurgery; ophthalmology; orthopaedics; pulmonology; psychiatry; rehabilitation; rheumatology; and urology.<\/p>\n

This is the 34th year for the survey. The rankings \u2014 which compare more than 4,500 medical centers across the country \u2014 are based primarily on objective measures, such as risk-adjusted survival and readmission rates, volume, patient experience, patient safety, and quality of nursing.<\/p>\n
