This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are honored by this recognition that attests to Cooper\u2019s leadership in perinatal safety and its commitment to providing the highest level of quality and excellence for expectant mothers and their babies,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/robin-perry-md\">Robin Perry, MD, FACOG<\/a>, chairman and chief, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/services\/obstetrics-and-gynecology\">Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/services\/maternal-fetal-medicine\">Maternal-Fetal Medicine.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Three data sources were used for the evaluation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Nationwide online survey:<\/strong> Health care professionals and hospital managers with knowledge about maternity processes e.g., neonatal and perinatal doctors, nurses and midwives were asked to recommend leading maternity hospitals in the US<\/li>\n<li><strong>Medical KPIs on hospitals<\/strong> with a focus on indicators relevant to maternity care<\/li>\n<li><strong>Results from patient surveys<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Newsweek and Statista invited over 10,000 medical professionals to participate in the survey.
