\"\"(MOORESTOWN, NJ) On November 29, 2023, Cooper University Health Care opened the first phase of its newest and largest outpatient campus at the Moorestown Mall.<\/p>\n

The 166,000-square-foot, three-story facility, converted from a former Sears department store that sat empty since 2020, has been transformed into a state-of-the-art outpatient campus. The Cooper Moorestown Campus offers patients more than 26 medical specialties, a range of diagnostic services, nearly 100 exam rooms, concierge services, a caf\u00e9, and other patient amenities. The facility is accessible from a main entrance facing Route 38 and an interior entrance from inside the Moorestown Mall.<\/p>\n

“Since its founding more than 135 years ago, Cooper has always been committed to providing the best care to its community. This announcement demonstrates how we are expanding access to Cooper’s outstanding care so that every member of our community can obtain the services they need when they need them in the most convenient way,\u201d said George E. Norcross III, chair of Cooper\u2019s Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe demand for access to Cooper\u2019s expert clinical care teams has never been stronger. This state-of-the-art facility, one of the largest outpatient locations in the tri-state area, will enable Cooper to meet this demand.\u00a0While patients travel from all 50 states and more than 35 countries to receive their care at Cooper, we are proud to expand access closer to where many Cooper patients live and work,\u201d said Kevin O\u2019Dowd, JD, co-CEO of Cooper.<\/p>\n

During the first phase opening, patients can schedule appointments for primary care and the following specialties: bariatric surgery, cardiopulmonary diagnostic services, endocrinology, gastroenterology, general surgery, infectious diseases, maternal-fetal medicine, nephrology, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopaedics\/musculoskeletal services, otolaryngology, neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, plastic surgery, podiatry, pulmonology, rheumatology, thoracic surgery, urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery, and vascular surgery.<\/p>\n

Specialists from MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper include breast surgeons, gynecologic oncologists, and hematologists and medical oncologists. Cardiologists with Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care will also see patients at the Moorestown Campus. All these specialties will be supported by laboratory services, pre-admission testing, and other support services.<\/p>\n
