On Wednesday, April 24, 2013, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/departments-programs\/children-s-regional-hospital\">Children\u2019s Regional Hospital at Cooper<\/a>, in partnership with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wish.org\/\">Make-A-Wish Foundation\u00ae<\/a>, made that dream a reality.<\/p>\n<p>Staff from around the hospital, including<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/departments-programs\/hematology-and-oncology\"> Hematology\/Oncology<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/departments-programs\/adolescent-medicine\">Adolescent Medicine<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/departments-programs\/general-pediatrics\">General Pediatrics<\/a> transformed a conference room into a scene from Karolynn\u2019s favorite movie, \u201cLady and the Tramp,\u201d to present her with an all-inclusive, 10-day trip abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Karolynn says she is most looking forward to seeing the iconic sights of Paris, like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre\u2014and, of course, shopping!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis trip will be Karolynn\u2019s escape\u2014an escape from chemotherapy and constant doctor visits, and an escape from her diagnosis,\u201d said Kasey Massa, LSW, pediatric social worker at Children\u2019s Regional Hospital at Cooper. \u201cNow in remission, Karolynn and her family can fully enjoy this life changing journey\u2014her wish come true.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work.
