She treated the kids, all of whom participated in the Cooper Learning Center\u2019s Summer Reading Program, to a limousine ride and tickets to the Philadelphia 76ers game.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/news\/2013\/11\/a-night-at-the-sixers\/cfsannekoonsnightatsixers-009\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5669\" title=\"CFSAnneKoonsNightatSixers 009\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/news\/files\/2013\/11\/CFSAnneKoonsNightatSixers-009.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Cooper Learning Center, part of Children\u2019s Regional Hospital at Cooper, has offered the six-week remedial reading program for the past eight years at no cost to participating families. The goal of the reading program, primarily sponsored by The Cooper Foundation through support from Ms. Koons, is to target and improve children\u2019s reading skills early, to prevent future educational difficulties.<\/p>\n<p>The children and their families even made the evening news, as Dann Cuellar from 6ABC interviewed them about the camp and the special night, and even filmed them at the game.
