He will oversee all contractual and financial responsibilities of the physician group serving Cooper University Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Cooper University Physicians is comprised of more than 439 employed physicians at Cooper. In addition, there are 260 Residents and Fellows at Cooper who are physicians in advanced training programs in various medical specialties.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Weinroth has more than 30 years of legal and business experience related to the operations of hospitals and physician practices.  He has served as Chairman of the Finance Committee of Cooper\u2019s Board of Trustees until assuming this new position and previously served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGeorge has been a trusted part of the Cooper Health System for many years, and we are looking forward to his leadership in this new role as our physician practice continues to grow,\u201d said John P. Sheridan, Jr., President and CEO of The Cooper Health System.<\/p>\n<p>He is a retired principal in the law firm of Mattleman, Weinroth, and Miller. He graduated from Trenton State College, and earned his J.D. with honors from Rutgers University School of Law.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Weinroth has been a key player behind organizing various fund-raising events on behalf of Cooper, including the Mercedes-Benz Golf Tournament and the Gala Extravaganza.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Weinroth is licensed to practice before the Courts of the States of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and all U.S. District Courts.
